Recently, a group of SYNC women had the privilege of serving at a beautiful fundraising dinner in south Reno for an incredible ministry called Scarlet Hope. It was more than just a nice evening out—it was a powerful picture of what happens when followers of Jesus link arms to serve people who are often forgotten or pushed to the margins.
Scarlet Hope Banquet
Scarlet Hope hosted a banquet in south Reno with one main goal: to raise funds to meet their 2026 budget so they can continue the work God has called them to. Our SYNC ladies stepped in to help:
- Serving a beautifully prepared dinner
- Welcoming guests and helping create a warm, inviting atmosphere
- Supporting the Scarlet Hope team so they could focus on sharing the vision of their ministry
It wasn’t about being in the spotlight. It was about quietly serving, showing up, and saying with our actions: “We’re with you in this.”
Who Is Scarlet Hope?
Scarlet Hope is a ministry that goes where most people never think to go. They bring the love and hope of Jesus directly into brothels and strip clubs, building relationships with women in the adult entertainment industry and sharing the truth that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.
Their work includes:
- Regular outreach into clubs and brothels, often bringing meals and conversation
- Building long-term relationships based on trust, not judgment
- Connecting women with practical resources, support, and community
- Walking alongside those who are ready to step into a new season of life
Scarlet Hope goes into places many would avoid, but Jesus never avoided hurting people, and neither do they.

At SYNC, we talk caring for the broken, serving the overlooked, and being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever He leads. Partnering with Scarlet Hope is a natural expression of that.
