Our SYNC ladies recently had the opportunity to lend a helping hand and offer our support to our friends at Awaken during their yearly fundraising banquet. Awaken does essential work, tirelessly dedicated to ending sex trafficking and exploitation right here in our state and across the nation.
Our team was eager to kick off the day! We arrived bright and early to hold a special time of prayer for the event’s success and for healing for all survivors. From there, we rolled up our sleeves and helped with the setup, making sure the venue was perfectly ready to welcome guests.
During the banquet, you could find the SYNC women staffing the merchandise table and assisting with the silent auction, helping to raise those crucial funds that fuel Awaken’s mission. And of course, we stayed right until the end to help tidy up! It was wonderful to be a small part of such a significant and hope-filled evening.
We are so grateful for the big hearts of every SYNC volunteer who gave their time to ensure the fundraiser was a success. When we work together, we are truly bringing hope, healing, and light to survivors and taking a stand against injustice.
