Making a difference one child at a time!

Pathfinders Art Project and Lunch
Pam Korgan

Remember that amazing feeling of summer camp when you were a kid? The fresh air, new friends, and unforgettable memories? That’s exactly what the Pathfinder’s Kids are experiencing right now at Cowboy’s Rest, nestled in the beautiful mountains outside of Elko!

For a week, these incredible kids from Reno, who face the challenges of poverty, get to trade city life for camp, laughter, and a chance to simply be kids. It’s more than just fun and games; it’s a place where they build friendships and discover faith. We’ve seen so many young hearts open to Christ over the years at camp, and it’s truly a testament that God has not forgotten these children.

But the journey doesn’t end when camp does. For those who want to deepen their faith and even become “Junior Leaders,” there’s a special six-week Discipleship Class. And guess what? Last year, we, at SYNC, had the privilege of hosting a celebration for those who completed the class! It was a fantastic afternoon filled with delicious lunch, a super fun art project, and so many smiles. We loved every minute of it!

Imagine the impact you could have on these bright young lives. If you’re feeling called to support this incredible ministry and help us make a difference later this summer, we’d love for you to get involved. Please reach out to Pam Korgan at 775-848-1986 to learn more about how you can support the Pathfinder’s Children’s ministry and help change the lives of kids in poverty. Every little bit helps us continue to bring joy, faith, and hope to these amazing children.
