At SYNC, we believe in the power of community and the importance of nurturing the next generation. Recently, our SYNC ladies came together to assemble 120 Resurrection Gift Bags, specially prepared for the children involved in the Pathfinders Children’s Ministry program. This project was more than just packing bags – it was about spreading hope, encouragement, and love to kids who are part of a mission close to our hearts.
What Are the Resurrection Gift Bags?
Each gift bag is carefully curated with items designed to inspire and uplift. For children in Kindergarten through 4th grade, the bags included:
- A sticker book
- A book about Jesus
- A four-color pen
- A page of stickers
- A bracelet
- A gift box
- A bookmark
- A drawing notebook
For kids in 5th through 12th grade, the bags contained:
- A scripture bracelet
- A magnetic bookmark
- A journal
- A four-color pen
- A page of stickers
- The Gospel of John
These items were chosen not only to bring joy but also to encourage spiritual growth and reflection.
Supporting Pathfinders’ Mission
The Pathfinders Children’s Ministry program is dedicated to helping children in the Reno and Sparks, Nevada area break free from generational poverty. By providing a safe space for learning, growth, and faith-building, Pathfinders equips children with tools to build brighter futures. Our gift bags serve as a tangible reminder that each child is valued and loved.
