The Nifty Needles SYNC Group continues to turn fabric, thread, and creativity into meaningful gifts for people in need.
At a recent meeting, members shared that 11 quilts were donated to Veteran’s Alliance, 14 quilts went to Foster the City, and 16 quilts were given to Real Choices. Each quilt represents hours of sewing, generous donations of materials, and a caring community committed to helping others.
The group is also preparing to make fleece blankets. SYNC will schedule a workday where members can sew together, share skills, and create warm blankets for future donations.
Nifty Needles has also been busy supporting Dress a Girl Around the World. More than 1,200 dresses have been made so far this year. Many of these dresses were sent to an orphanage in Johannesburg, while others will be included in Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Boxes. These handmade dresses offer children around the world a special gift made with care.
Whether you are an experienced seamstress or someone who would like to learn, there is a place for you in the Nifty Needles SYNC Group. Members work on service projects, encourage one another, and enjoy the fellowship that comes from creating something meaningful together.
If you enjoy sewing, quilting, or working with fabric, consider joining Nifty Needles. Your time and talents can help provide comfort, warmth, and joy to people near and far.
