A Letter from Krista

Dear Sewing Sisters,

First of all I would like to introduce myself as the new Leader of Dress A Girl Around the World for SYNC Reno. My name is Krista Jensen. I have big shoes to fill! Cheryl Schricker started DAG over a year ago and did an outstanding job setting it up, organizing, and getting it in working order! She handed the bar over to me this month and I pray I can grow what she started per God’s will.
We run 100% on donations. So money, sturdy 100% cotton bright fabric, double binded bias tape, zig-zag trim and any other sturdy trims, 1/2″ elastic are always needed. If you don’t sew, that is perfectly okay! We also need people to cut the trims, elastic and fabrics to make the kits that are handed out to our ladies who do sew and complete them and return them to me.
Here is my contact information for your convenience. Krista Jensen Cell: (775) 409-0828. Email is : boyzgrandma@charter.net. My secondary email is :boyzgrandma04@gmail.com. You can reach me at either one.
Our primary purpose is to provide beautiful young women with a new dress. Our “Dress A Girl” tag that is sewn on every dress has also proven to be a deterrent for preditors looking for girls to use in sex trafficking. So what we do is much more important than just sewing a dress for these girls. We are helping to keep them safe!! Praise God!
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing how we can find your Niche In Christ!!
Blessings,
Krista
