Pam has lived in Reno for 22 years with her husband, Don, married for 46 years. Prior to moving to Reno, they shared the joy of living and raising their family at Lake Tahoe. They have two adult daughters and two grandchildren.
Pam’s gifts and passions all revolve around a love for teaching. She became a Precept Bible Leader over 30 years ago, and also is a Nevada licensed teacher in Secondary Education, specializing in Alternative Education, recently retired. Over the past 20 years she has made five educational mission trips to Russia, and one each to Cambodia and Armenia, to take Christian curriculum and work with high school teachers. Pam’s special passion is to mentor young women in choosing positive paths for their lives. She taught in the WCSD Cyesis Program, was a co-founder of Reno Teen Mothers Of Preschoolers (MOPs), and taught the SHAPE* class at her church. Currently, Pam is an educational mentor for young women in the Awaken program, and any students needing to complete their high school diplomas. Pam and her husband enjoy leading Bible study and home fellowship groups. Favorite pastimes include being outdoors, hiking and enjoying God’s splendor in creation, and her greatest joy, spending time playing with her grandchildren. She loves teaching people how to get in SYNC with their divinely-designed SHAPE to fulfill God’s glorious purpose for them.

Program Administrator: Joan Campbell
Although she has no children of her own, Joan has served by teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and planning special events. As a youth director, she wrote, directed, and produced a Nativity play with the assistance of Richard, her husband of 26 years. She has been instrumental in conducting mini-retreats for women, as well as assisting with larger women’s retreats. She felt exceptionally blessed when she was offered the opportunity to train and serve as a small group leader at church retreats.
Concurrent with her service to her church, Joan volunteered for thirteen years with Literacy Volunteers of America as a tutor, trainer, and administrator. She also tutored for the literacy program at Truckee Meadows Community College after moving to Nevada in 2006. Joan has also volunteered in a hospice program for the terminally ill. Her employment has been in office environments, mostly government services. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business management with a focus on project management, studying full time, and she expects to be completed by the end of February, 2016. Joan has been excited to be able to use her project management education for SYNC. She is seeking God’s will in her next step while she is being blessed with the opportunity to develop the SYNC program. She is awed by the opportunity to experience God’s use of SYNCronicity!

Events Team Coordinator: Alyssa DeLaFrance
After moving to Reno in 2008, Alyssa settled into a church “home,” and in time, joined her first women’s Bible study where she began to truly discover her relationship journey with the Lord. She grew to love and appreciate the Bi
ble study table leaders and mentors who surrounded her, and within a few years became a table leader herself. She loves attending trainings, conferences, and retreats in order to take the deliberate time away from the routine of life, and have the opportunity to reset in her walk with God.
In 2016, Alyssa had the honor of serving on a Lifeway event team to bring to Reno a YOU Lead Training and help host over 4,000 women for Beth Moore’s Living Proof Live. She has a passion for encouraging and supporting women, and this event helped her to discover that she enjoys merging that passion with working towards making these types of events available to women in the community.
In her leisure time, Alyssa loves to join her husband, Andrew, and their two rambunctious Labradors on paddle boarding, mountain biking, backpacking, and snowshoeing adventures, but she also treasures her quiet time snuggled up with a cup of tea and a motivational book.
Waiting for the right person to heed God’s call and step in!
