From the Director

APam Korgan Profile Photos I talk with women all over our community, it seems the consistent theme is, “I’m so busy”. It isn’t quite August and yet our fall calendars are already getting full. We have gadgets galore that are supposed to save time and make our lives easier. We have vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, computers and cars, yet we seem to scramble for time. It isn’t just that we have houses larger than our grandmothers had that need to be vacuumed. The equipment is so complicated that many of us need to call experts for help. The fast pace of so many folks, tasks and things vying for our time can make us dizzy.

In an effort to address this issue, the focus of SYNC this fall is on weeding out the things in our life that keep us from achieving or maintaining harmonious balance in and between a woman’s mind, body, and soul. SYNC’s fall event will be a morning event held on October 15th, It will highlight Detox, If you are feeling stressed-out, over committed, or not well rested, you won’t want to miss this!  As we each ‘Seek our Niche in Christ’, we can learn to focus better if we remove distractions, unhealthy habits, and anything that tempts us to worry.

Our speaker will be Rachel Lohman, Stonecroft Western Division Field Director. Some of the break-outs under consideration for the event are Easy Prep for Healthy Meals, Self Care for Busy Moms, Emergency Preparedness, Say ‘Yes’ to the Best and ‘No’ to the Rest, Stretch to Relax, Finance, Making Wise Choices, and Gluten-free Cooking. If you have ideas or feel called to jump in on one of these, let us know at info@SYNCreno.org.

I am filled with joy at all I see God doing throughout our community in direct answer to prayer!

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely.  And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful.”  I Thessalonians 5:23-24
